UConn on the power play at about the 8 minute mark of the 3rd period. Nothing comes of it.
 
Great win! They finished against a big, fast and well coached team. One nagging issue - their strength and conditioning must improve. They hang on for dear life at the end of the second and third periods. That aspect must get better. It's only November. In January and February they have to be in better shape.

They needed this win badly for many reasons, but I think for their confidence most of all. Hopefully we start a winning streak going forward. Fun game, but I was a nervous wreck for the last 2 minutes of the game.

We sit right behind the UConn bench over the tunnel that they exit the bench. And I was in Vaughn’s pregame. We’ll work on meeting up at a future game! Next week we go to the football game then run to the hockey game so that game won’t work but we’ll figure out another game.

I went to Vaughns but I sat upstairs…had a great Shepards pie!
 
Lee is a stud…he almost single-handedly took two games from us this weekend. He should be feared by the entire HE. Not that Savory isn’t an issue as well.

I’ve been saying the power play is a disaster for years. You would think Cav would maybe seek out some advice in the off season. Maybe watch a peewee game. I’m not asking the best in the country. Merely slightly below average would do. Ours is slow developing. Nobody moves around. Poor passing
