It never fails…didn’t look like the right call.

Percival may have put this one away! 4-1 UConn!

And we are on to tomorrow. Great win.

2-4 on the powerplay is a promising stat.

Nothing tongue in cheek about saying we have a real good goalie in Callum Tung.

Story of the game is Tung. What a debut. It wasn't a fake 1 goal allowed effort either, he looked in control, had good position and used his legs well. The one goal he allowed barely went over the line after he made an impressive initial save.
Tung has great style - quick and catlike and so engaged in what is happening at all parts of the ice, but also weirdly seems loose and comfortable. He was a fun watch tonight amazingly so after not playing much in the last two months. I can only hope when he’s in regular game shape that he dazzles some more and helps the Huskies earn some extra W’s this year.

Really impressed with Tung. Thrilled for that kid. Hasn't been an easy ride for him. Loved seeing how his teammates mobbed him at the end.

Percival goal to seal it was the sort of grabbing the moment by the horns stuff we haven't seen a lot around here. Just took it on himself.

This might be one of their best passing teams they've ever had. For a collection of mostly younger players they move the puck really well in all areas of the ice.

This team/program is such a tease. For years they have played down to the bad teams yet find ways to beat better teams. Such an enigma.

Word of the day - "enigma"! Could it be wrapped in a riddle?

Winston Churchill - "a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma” - referring to Russia post-WWII. But also appropriate for this sometimes-maddening hockey team 70 or so years later.

All the dyed in the wool Cav haters must be hating this!
And though I may welcome a change at the top we have to embrace the staff that is there, and so far Nick Perruzi has been a fantastic addition to the coaching line. As was mentioned by the chummy UML announcers and mentioned here many times, Cavs is in year two of a six year contract extension. He’s not going anywhere and it seems the powers that be are content with that.

What needs to be done is improve the atmosphere and butts in seats attendance at Toscano games and moving the band was a good start in that direction.
