Nichols was pulled against Penn State.

With Merrimack and Northeastern on the horizon UConn better pull it together to have any shot at hosting a first round series.
Hopefully the ride home to Port Chester Tues night isn't after a game like this...it will be a LONG ride if it is

I just gout the CHN score update for the final...10-1...OUCH...on to Merrimack Tues night...it's gonna be a LONG bus ride home from Providence

Only good out of tonight is Notre Dame beat Maine. UConn still in position for home ice.

Big question is how Uconn recovers for the stretch run starting Tuesday. Next 5 games are against 3 quality opponents and games will not be easy. Even the last game against UMass is no gimme.

Tuesday game is huge because if Merrimack wins or ties they control the tiebreaker.
