Watching the NC - NC St game during halftime. DeShields, who is very talented, literally, just walked toward her bench with her hands on her hips because she didn't get the ball when posting a smaller player down low. And did this while her team had the ball !!!!!! Unbelievable. Is there any doubt what would have happened if Geno was the coach ?

Not sure she would have lasted a month with Geno.

That's the second time the announcer has mentioned that Williams increased her vertical by 4" in the offseason...and now they said another USF player did as well. Reminds me of the news re: Derrick Rose in Chicago. Big increases in vertical leap through focused training.

Wonder what the training methods are? 4" is a huge delta.

Courtney Williams has a 35" vertical, they say. That's Armintie Price / Gabby Williams / Lorin Dixon territory. I think Mo has an excellent vertical but probably closer to 30". Just a guess.

What a lackluster 2nd half. But not surprising with almost no bench to speak of. UCONN up 23 at the 13 minute mark, and at the 4 minute mark, up 20. So USF outplayed them by 3 points over those 9 minutes. Not the UCONN team we are used to seeing...
