I hate having to explain a joke. Doesn't say much for my attempt at humor.

You saw them at a restaurant. You said they could beat the spread.

Using on of the definitions for spread, a meal laid out for consumption, I attempted a play on your words "beat the spread" changing it to "eat the spread".

So, maybe not funny, but now you know what I meant.

I think USF is better than some of the other competition in the American. Probably a little better than Memphis, who "seemed" to make UCONN struggle a tad, even tho we won both games by 30... So I'm going to go with about a 25 point win.
