There is certainly a mindset or lack thereof in the playcalling. We seem to love going wide even though we are very slow as a team.

We have the most success going north and south. After 6 games, I can clearly see it. What's taking the staff so long?

Unlike the pro game, in collegiate football I feel for the kid who has to go in for an injured player and then just stinks. His parents are probably watching and all excited to see their son... and then he gets highlighted for all the wrong reasons.

"Next man up" at a school like UConn often means a pretty significant drop in skill and talent.
