Intensity level needs to be notched up on D. Good stop but they are tentative

I watch football. I have no idea what UConn offensive brain trust is thinking. And I use that term loosely.

They score 45 points a game with a QB who plays like Ward from Houston. That tends to make players tentative.
 
Need to have good play calls on 3rd down to keep USF's O off the field. That wasn't one.
 
We used to have guys like Sherman Brown and Frey that made short yardage look more doable. And better blocking.
 
Anyone see the Fruit beat VaTech? Didn't see that one coming.

There is certainly a mindset or lack thereof in the playcalling. We seem to love going wide even though we are very slow as a team.

We have the most success going north and south. After 6 games, I can clearly see it. What's taking the staff so long?
