Ok good. Now it's open season on hurting this QB for USF, he tried to tackle Jones by spiking him

An officiating crew worthy of these teams.

.-.
No issue with defense besides Obi, now lets see what the offense can do. Good job Jones!

Worst announcing Eva...Danny kanell sucks as an announcer and QBQB

Guys...huge bright side here.

These teams are pretty interchangeable I think. If the roles were reversed you know we would expect UConn to blow it in the second half.

Reminds me of that USF game from years ago when Edsall did his first and only trick play for a TD. Our O was inept then too.

That TD was fun, but our line sucked again this half. Can't win this way plus zero passing game.

I sure would. This is like your town's high school football team. Let's go Indians!

Diaco played a game of chicken at the end by not passing and living with poor field position.

So, it's 14-7 and not 21-0 off an int.

He has balls.

I don't know how people can complain about HCBD's (or OC Cummings) playcalling given the inability of the OL to do... well, anything.

That's my point. Foley has to be in question.

The thing that bugs me about the offense is the three yards and a cloud of dust mentalty. No element of surprise ever. Very predictable

Had to be a reason he didn't leave when PP and GDL were here. If he was a savant he would have landed another job.

Have we seen 0 yards passing in a half since the International Bowl? Of course that was on purpose.

Stat I heard on the pre-game show. 60% of first down plays in the first three games this year have gone for a loss, no gain or a turnover. Think about that stat for a bit.

No. When you play true freshmen and Knappe, you have to expect they will be at a strength and experience disadvantage to virtually every team. The play calling needs to take into account our inexperienced OL. In other words, quick hand offs and quick slants. Weist figured it out by the end of last year and unfortunately, Cummings hasn't figured it out yet.

I complain.

The OL is run blocking very well.

So when you have 2nd and 4 or 2nd and 2, why in the world are you doing delayed handoffs and dropping back 11 steps and faking handoffs?

You have an advantage over a very bad DL. Run it and mix in the pass. Forget these delays.

Halftime adjustments? Depth chart changes? I'd start with a few playaction quick slants. Need to SOMETHING to at least try to back off a few of their guys from the line of scrimmage.

I wanna like....but I don't like the stat!!

I thought uconn was supposed to turn the screwdriver a half a crank for conference play...

NO! In-game threads drive up post totals. When our out of town friends come to the 'Yard for their CR news and see 207K football posts to 330K MBB and 270K WBB posts, their perception of no football fandom is somehow confirmed!
