At this point I was surprised/relieved he caught the punt.

If the OL can't block anyone, then there's no point in putting Boyle in.

The one positive thus far: our backs are damn good. Run hard and finish runs when they're not getting crushed as soon as they get the ball.

.-.
Johnson trying his best to do it by himself right now but the line is just too terrible

Whitmer must sit. UConn a ton of legitimate D-1 talent. Many of these guys couldn't play at Trinity. O-line disgraceful. D-line puts no pressure on QB. D-backs awful. And OBI isnt even a football player.

The problem is offensive play calling.
There's a lot of problems out there but the play calling clearly doesn't help. How have they not changed the passing game to slants and screens to limit the O Line's exposure?

Serious play diversity there

Theyy'd be doing much better if they weren't running off delays, etc.

You have not completed a pass all game. Why are you in the shotgun with a delay handoff?

UConn needs to simplify here. Smash their face in by running it, and when you drop back to pass, keep Whitmer's eyes on the field (instead of fakes) and force him to stand on a f'ckin dime.

I can't believe this is a division 1 team's offensive line.

Remember, Coach Diaco said he simplified things for struggling line.

Play action would have worked...but no let's let them know we're running on 3rd and 1
