- How last year's championship team "evolved" from this team. Geno's use of the small lineup. Heck, he had a whole year of it.
- Great Paige- JuJu matchup. They were both brilliant in this game. KK, Ash, and Nika were all in big foul trouble. Paige did a great job on JuJu.
- Nika played about 18 minutes with 4 fouls. She still made plays. A couple of 3's and a bunch of assists and rebounds.
- Ice played a ton and was effective. Some really big shots. (we talk a lot about her play in the BE tournament, what about this game)
- KK- remember 2 freshmen started the whole year. We were able to pressure the ball out front, a key to any great defense. KK and Nika. Hard to see this impact from afar. USC was big and we took that advantage away from them, plus its effect on JuJu. Pressure outfront, bigs have to come further out. Deny wings, front the post. Bobby Knight, Coach K, Geno. Crunch UCLA- last year. Clinic.
- Q played a quarter and a half. Hit a big 3. She didn't hurt us. She did not get much better last year. Good luck to her at NC St.
- How much easier it was for us to score last year. Whew. Paige and Aaliyah and a few role players.
