I don’t know about you guys but, Grant MacArthur reminds me so much of Ben Huber. He’s also starting to come around and he’s looked a lot more comfortable compared to the first series in PR. Can’t wait to see what this team can do going forward. It’s always great to get a power conference series win, and now on to LIU at Elliot on Wednesday!

Boy, it sure looks like Rispoli is doing quite well after starting the season on the bench. He adds quite a bit to a solid infield (3B, SS, 2B) on this team the way he is going at this point.

Now if UConn can get the pitching staff to be more consistent in its performance, the team could really be pretty solid this season.

Some Joe Deroche Duffin in Babe. Think he is gonna enjoy the left field at Elliott. That performance center is gonna feel some of his homers I have a feeling.

If you told me Friday morning that UConn would take the series, I would have been very happy. Unfortunately, they had a chance at a sweep but pitching staff laid an egg.

Hopefully, they have great success this week at home and at Campbell.

Up to 20th in RPI right now (down from 16 after the loss but idc lol) after a super slow start to the season! Xavier is 2nd. That’s going to be one hell of a Big East opening series. Nova and Creighton are also top 75! In my opinion having 2 top 75ish teams, then UConn and X being top 50 all season in the Big East is the key to keeping the best possible RPI. The Vandy win and the Miami series win have boosted my confidence level in this team. My confidence was dwindling after the first couple weekends but they’re rolling right now, and I hope they keep it going!! Just need the pitching to step up their game a little bit more and we’ll be in a good spot.
