UConn & UCLA & Women's Basketball on ABC

Holly Rowe shared a twitter message from ESPN that the UConn UCLA game will be the first regular season women's college bball game shown on the ABC network. Ordinarily I would be looking forward to the national exposure, but with both UConn & UCLA badly depleted, a poorly executed game from either or both teams will not be making a good case for more regular women's games on the national network. I don't envy Ryan Ruocco or Rebecca if the play quality goes south. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I believe if ABC had known Paige would not be playing, they would not have scheduled another game.

Glad it was competitive for the audience but maybe half the audience tuned in even just to see Paige in the crowd?

I was wrong. It was SC but the 100 game winning streak that drew 1.2 million in 2017.
