Chris Winkel got caught in a rundown in that 2nd inning. My wife remarked that he seems to get caught in these situations a lot. I think she is right.
Shouldve just slid into home, running back to third was a guaranteed out. He had a better chance of knocking the ball loose at home. From my view above the Huskies dugout.

Jonesy said the same thing.

Bottom 3rd, 3B error by Langer to start the inning, that runner scores on a 1 out single. Game tied at 1.

Man, Langer needs to step it up at third. I would just free Moriarity from his extended timeout at this point.

It may come to that. Still, I don't mind Langer and Lucas (apparently in the midweek games) getting looks for now. Sooner or later, the coaching staff will likely settle on someone. Of course, playing Moriarty would be a bit easier if the rest of the bottom of the lineup started to produce. Easier to carry one bad bat in the lineup than several of them.

Field is nice but damn this scoreboard is dated. Can hardly see the scores for each inning.

Kersten starting to struggle with command. Walks first two in the 4th.

Line drive hit their runner between 2nd and 3rd for first out. Still two on 1 out. Edit... High pop out to third called by Prato 2 out.

Chris Jones says that if didn't hit the runner, Prato catches it for a double play.

2 out single, but the runner is thrown out at home for the third out by Toppa. Game tied at 1.

Toppa is not known for his arm, but this is at least his third outfield assist this season that I can remember.

Edit: Just looked it up. It's Toppa's fourth assist on the season.

Probable.... Hard to say from my angle. UCF is pissed rn no interference called at third after the rope thrown home. Imo shouldn't have sent the runner anyways. Out by a mile.
