What are the last 5-10 games where UConn trailed by double digits?
What is UConn's record in those games.

No, I don't know the answer to these.

Off the top of my head ...

Last year vs. Mississippi State, we were down 15 or so and lost by 2 in OT.

A few years ago, we trailed N.D. by about 10 and then went on a huge run to win by 15+.

In one of the 7 losses to N.D. (Feb. 2012) we trailed much of the game and lost by 13.

In Maya's final game, I think we trailed by 10 at some point before losing.

In Maya's first year, we trailed Rutgers by 9 or 10 before cutting it to 3 on successive 3-pointers by Maya.

Also in Maya's final year, I think we may have trailed by 10+ in losing to Stanford by 9 in the Final Four.

We were actually down 16 to MS. But that is a detail.

There was a 9 point comeback against TN that ended with an OT victory thanks to DT.

In Maya's final game loss in the Final 4 (?) she tallied 36

Milford: Your first comment high up in this post---points out the loss of a true good big, i.e. taller than 6-2 (post), the main factor missing last year. This WIN shows the benefits to using a good big, accepting that Big is still learning Uconn language.
No big of this nature--loss for sure. The most needed addition, great core 4, great small guard, made extra great with Z

Can't forget the 2009-2010 Championship game vs. Stanford. The Cardinal led by 9 points in the 1st half, and by 8 points at half-time (yes, the score was only 20-12 at half-time!) UConn then scored 35 points to Stanford's 11, to lead by 16! Final margin was 6 points. A great come-back win for UConn.

Yeah, I didn’t list it because the deficit never quite reached 10. That was a bizarre game. How can a team with Maya, Tina, Kalana, Tiffany, and Caroline score 12 points in 20 minutes??! Even against a very good Stanford team, that was other-worldly.

She tried! Stef’s foul trouble was the big negative. Maya sat at the interview table looking heart broken. Geno said he would not let Maya’s career be defined by that game. She set the record with 150 wins and 4 losses (since surpassed). She never lost in Connecticut.

In looking over her career, one notices that her UConn years were the only time in her career when she won championships at a rate as low as 50%. She has 25 major championships in 13 years.

Two years later, Maya was interviewed at the Final Four. She was thrilled for her former teammate Kelly, “who was able to end her career the right way.”

UConn was down 17 points to DePaul on March 1,2008 and came back to win. That was the game with the Maya steal and the Swanier lay-up. Crazy ending. Some of us were at that game in Chicago and still couldn't believe what we witnessed.

Bulletin board material for Doug Bruno.

That deficit was larger than I realized. I was busy that night and didn’t track the game. Maya refuses to lose. She almost pulled out the Rutgers game too.

How large was the deficit against Georgetown when McNutt and Rogers were en fuego? Lorin Dixon was key that game.

On my list to all time favorites~ great win, unexpected win--a certain loss turned instant victory.

It is interesting. Often I am really nervous even when we are ahead but this game, for some reason, I really was not. I guess I felt the
shooting would cool down for Mabrey and Okunbouwale and I never took seriously the idea that Shepard could dominate the 4th quarter when she looked redder than any tomato I could imagine.
