Just have to move on from this one. We squandered too many opportunities early.

Agnos stays in to start the 8th.
Why take him out, we've made it look so easy for him. Just throw off speed, we can't touch it and we can't seem to lay off it.

If you ask me, Agnos is the one who has made it look easy tonight. A great pitcher when he is on disrupts hitters, and he has done that.

Yea this is a tip your cap game. We came in with a good plan to attack him, screwed up on the basepaths warly, he adjusted and we had no answers. Next game.

Agnos comes out with 2 out in the 9th after a walk and 129 pitches. What a performance.

This type of pitcher is a recipe for disaster for us. We are a very inpatient team at the plate and swung at a lot of pitches out of the strike zone. Don't get me wrong, he was awesome, but I think we helped him out a lot.

Gotta move on and hope their next best starters don't look as good

Agnos at 117 pitches starts the 9th. Chris Jones is critical of the decision to keep him in this game, says it could cost them in June.

Yea, that is an awful decision. Their coach has done that sort of thing before.

They were horrific outside of conference. Any conference wins they get are going to hurt the RPI of everyone else.

Cincy started the season 1-9, all out of conference games, a terrible start. But since then, not only do they have a winning record inside the AAC, but they are also 9-5 outside the conference. They may not be a great team, but they have certainly turned it around, and have improved as the season has progressed.

One thing for certain, Penders is definitely not left speechless in this interview. Plenty to say about his UConn's approach to this game, and they can mostly be centered on being passive, not making adjustments or competing. "This is elite competition, and we were far from elite today."
