UConn to wear the old “Connecticut” jerseys

I wonder if they will wear them for the Kansas game? Would be pretty sweet if so! One of my all-time favorite UConn jerseys.

Equally filthy are the Ja 3s with the Husky on them.

I'm not so sure I'm happy with this. We got beat by them pretty badly in the 90's in these unis, still have PTSD about that. At least we didn't lose as badly in the new unis/logo.

We didn't have that style yet in 1995. We were wearing these. We did have that style at home in 1997, but we played pretty well that day in a loss.

Those were made by Starter, I doubt Nike will do a retro of those. They were sweet though, they were my first authentic UConn jersey I bought.

Yep. The semis v. Duke. We wore white with “UCONN” in the championship game v. Tech.
We need to return to that for road/home games.
