Enoch is our big and the rest of our bigs are stick figures. I'm not falling for this. Unless we nail a big recruit we are middle of the pack AAC. Again.

So now we can't even use the "Wait until next year." excuse, we have say "Wait until next, next year."??? Now I'm depressed.

Why would any national writer write an article about a team bouncing back two years in advance? Clearly talking about next season.....you know which ends in 2018.

The season is recorded based on the year it starts, not ends. The Bears won the 1985 NFL title, not 1986 just because the Superbowl was in 1985. At least say, 2017/18 season......

That's because most of football's season takes place within the earlier calendar year.

In contrast, most of basketball's season takes place within the later calendar year.

Not in college basketball...

I guess it's KO's fault you don't know that the 2018 season (Next season) follows this season (2017)
Its always KO, huh

So UConn won in 2013 not 2014 - got it
And I think the Superbowl that the Bears won was in January 1986 - what you stated made zero sense

The title of the article is "Teams that will rebound after missing '17 NCAA Tournament."

The second sentence of the article is, "In this edition of Rival Views, the two debate the team most likely to make the 2018 NCAA Tournament after missing out this season."

So what the **** are you guys arguing about which year they're talking about? Only on the Boneyard. smh

I am beginning to question the intelligence level of this board. ;)

Haha it's insanity, but really it's just one person saying something idiotic then a bunch of people hammering home the point.

My prediction.... top 25 to start the year. Then we fall out about November and finish 3-4 in the AAC. Per usual.

I predict undefeated national title winners after beating duke and uk by an average of 30 points in the FF.

I admit that I am not up on exactly what next year's new recruits are supposed to add to what we have, and we do get back Gilbert and Larrier who if they are healthy add a lot, but it seems futile to try to put a number to next year's team. Does next year's roster have enough talent or are we wishin' and hopin' again?

Well, Jalen's got the talent to be an All-American next year (obviously that's an optimistic scenario, but definitely attainable), Larrier has a ton of potential, Alterique was a McDonald's AA and clearly has a bunch of talent, and just the typical freshman to sophomore jump for Vital, Vance, and Durham should mean this team can do a lot of damage next year.
