TBT is getting ready to kick off again, after looking at the rosters there's several points of interest for UConn fans:
CitiTeam Blazers - has both Jeff Adrien and Jerome Dyson on the roster. They also have Jordan Hamilton (Daniel Hamilton's brother) as a player of interest. They are in the Salt Lake bracket and go up against Team Freddette in their first game who's most notable player is former Houston standout Rob Gray.
L.A. Cheaters - which is a Drew League affiliated team has Marcus Williams on the squad. They're also in the Salt Lake bracket, so they could, in theory, face Adrien/Dyson's squad in a couple of rounds. They're playing a UCLA alumni team in the first round with guys like the Wear twins, and Isaac Hamilton.
That's really it for players. Andre Drummond is listed as the "head coach" of a team of nobodies called Tampa 20/20. Literally don't recognize a single name on their roster.
Rodney Purvis was announced earlier in the year as a member of team CP3 which actually looks pretty decent (PJ Hairston, Dez Wells), but he's not on the roster page on the TBT website, so not sure what's going on there.
Anyway, all that really matters is that Boeheim's Army doesn't win.
