TBT, The Basketball Tournament, is a winner takes all, $1M tournament that takes place in the summer. There have been teams that were formed featuring alumns of colleges, since it's creation there's been teams featuring Cuse, Ohio State, Wichita State, Buffalo, Dayton, and last year Louisville that I can remember off the top of my head. Marc D'Amelio is apparently funding a team featuring UConn alumns.

I remain of the opinion that if there had been a '19-20 BET and NCAA tourney, with the run Vital was on, we'd have been at least a 9 seed and Dan Hurley wouldn't have begun his career here with a 1st round exit.

I really like the TBT tournament, and you can get some really good games out of it, especially as it gets closer to the championship. Glad there’s going to be a UConn presence. Marc continues to do great things for the school.

I'll play... I think the coach will be more current than Smitty. I'll go with Rip, although it's worth noting that Drummond has coached a TBT team before.

Hope they're able to put together a good roster, some of these TBT teams are no joke and have been together for multiple tourneys. Last year's Louisville team that got together for the first time had quite a few dudes from their title team, including Russ Smith and Peyton Siva.
