The Charlotte Hornets are the Summer League champs! Hang the banner!
Rutgers immediately takes credit for all the players on the team...The Charlotte Hornets are the Summer League champs! Hang the banner!
This might signal the end of Andre’s time in Milwaukee. I believe their roster is at 15 now, not counting Andre, and Amir Coffey also has a camp deal.
Are you saying Bronny would be on an NBA roster now if his last name was Smith?Bronny gets dragged through the glass while The Greek Nepo Thanasis been collecting millions for years
He’s a lot better than Thanasis, that’s for sure. Are you saying Bronny would be on an NBA roster now if his last name was Smith?
Bruh LeBron is purposely bringing him along slowly. He’d be an all star by now if his last name was Smith. Are you saying Bronny would be on an NBA roster now if his last name was Smith?
I'm pretty confident that both Bronny and Thanasis are beneficiaries of their respective surnames. Are you saying Bronny would be on an NBA roster now if his last name was Smith?
I’d prefer Sanogo on NYKI want Andre on the Knicks bring him in.
I think Castle will prove to be a star, and rookie of the year has him pretty on track for that so far. I hear your point, though. We weren’t loaded up with NBA-ready guys stopping over at UConn for a year to kill time.Ok, so after two years of some of our boys in the NBA Summer circuit, we know a couple of things:
1. A lot of our most important players ARE NOT NBA players, certainly not stars.
2. The most important player in '23....not an NBA center
3. The most important player in 24, not an NBA starting PG
4. Our best defensive player in 23: marginally in the NBA but not contributing much
5. Our best shooter in 23: under performing in the NBA (feels safe to say)
My point is that Coach Hurley and the staff should get massive credit for the back to back rings. They did not do it with a Duke type of roster. And I love love love that. I am proud of that.
Totally random, but came across some AAU footage of when Bronny's and Solo's teams went head to head. And Isaiah Coleman, Mr. "We (Illinois) needed 1 more half to beat them". LOLAre you saying Bronny would be on an NBA roster now if his last name was Smith?

Whoops! Apologies to Mr Coleman. You're confusing Isaiah Coleman with Coleman Hawkins

Man, we have a great fanbase.Ok, so after two years of some of our boys in the NBA Summer circuit, we know a couple of things:

Bronny wouldn't have even been at USC if his last name was Smith. Are you saying Bronny would be on an NBA roster now if his last name was Smith?
I mean Bronny was a 4-star prospect, so it's not like he went from walk-on to college starter purely on who his dad is. Though I guess the question of whether he would have still been a 4-star with last name Smith instead of James is a fair question.Bronny wouldn't have even been at USC if his last name was Smith.
Man, we have a great fanbase
If you disagree with my take you are delusional. TN is struggling to make an NBA roster. Adama is in Europe. Andre is holding on for dear life with the Bucs. These are FACTS.Man, we have a great fanbase.
100% true.If you disagree with my take you are delusional. TN is struggling to make an NBA roster. Adama is in Europe. Andre is holding on for dear life with the Bucs. These are FACTS.
It’s hilarious that you noticed all of that and that’s the conclusion you came up with.If you disagree with my take you are delusional. TN is struggling to make an NBA roster. Adama is in Europe. Andre is holding on for dear life with the Bucs. These are FACTS.
Classic Bone Yardian engaging in a thoughtful open-minded discussion. If you disagree with my take you are delusional...
All focus is probably on the fact that Zion decided to stop going to Bubba Gumps Shrimp factory 3 meals a day. Anyone see him?Hawk had one of the shortest media day interviews for the Pelicans and there's zero buzz for him from their media, he's gotta make something shake this season, it's getting dark
Hawk has shown enough of his talent that even if it doesn’t work with the Pelicans another team may take a flyer on him.Hawk had one of the shortest media day interviews for the Pelicans and there's zero buzz for him from their media, he's gotta make something shake this season, it's getting dark
I see this as a make or break season for Hawkins. All he does is shoot and he's been a really bad shooter in the NBA. If he doesn't make a massive jump with shooting the ball this season he has no role.Hawk had one of the shortest media day interviews for the Pelicans and there's zero buzz for him from their media, he's gotta make something shake this season, it's getting dark
A specialist who isn't good at his specialty, a deadly combination.I see this as a make or break season for Hawkins. All he does is shoot and he's been a really bad shooter in the NBA. If he doesn't make a massive jump with shooting the ball this season he has no role.
