Per Carl Adamac:
1. Chris Dailey is now 14-0 as a head coach.
2. UConn has now gone 1,069 games without losing two in a row.
3. The Huskies are 75-0 against Florida schools. Last loss was Miami in 1993.
4. FSU is 0-10 against UConn.

Per me:
1. Lou and Aaliyah are the only players to start all 10 UConn games.
2. Lou leads the team in scoring with 179 points. Aaliyah is 2nd at 169.
3. Nika has 90 assists in 9 games. That is 43% of the total.
4. Lou has scored in double figures every game this season. Only one..

Go Huskies..!! Beat Seton Hall & get healthy..!

Per Carl Adamec: #3 That loss to Miami was the first of our
2 consecutive losses way back then. Miami in the BE tourney...
followed by first round NCAA tourney loss to Louisville.

Speaking of Lou and Aaliyah and lineups, thru 10 games we are on our 5th lineup this year, compared to 3rd last year. The one thing that the staff and players may have learned from last year is to be flexible, and the ol' next player up mantra.

Geno has also been dodging Kean University. Do any of the NJ people know if Kean is even D1?

How can UConn be 75-0 against Florida schools if they lost to Miami in 1993?
Same way Notre Dame was "7 of 9" at one point...depends where you start and end these gems.

Here's a stat: Nika had 8 and 2 FTs made in her first 2 seasons, for a total of 10. She already has 11 this year. She shot .222 last year and is at a decent .611 this season. I liked her aggressiveness to the hoop yesterday.

A clear positive about this year's team:

Each of the three third-year players not named Paige (Aaliyan, Nika, and Aubrey) are significantly improved. Aaliyah in particular is really fun to watch.

I love NM's game but 61% is not good enough. She needs to be closer to 75%.
