This stats summary has numbers from the 34-0 season, so far, that almost match. For example, Azzi has 104 made threes and 101 assists. How rare is that 100/100 set of stats? The last player to make 100+ threes and log 100+ assists was Katie Lou in 2016-17. She finished with 119 threes and 118 assists. Here are more almost matching stats:
* Kayleigh has 97 rebounds (more than Azzi), 98 made baskets (more than KK) and 99 assists (more than Ash). We are blessed to have such a super-sub..!
* Sarah has 250 rebounds and 247 made baskets. That is 106 more rebounds than the next player (Serah w/ 144) and 18 more baskets than Azzi.
* UConn has made 322 three point baskets and 328 free throws. The threes account for 32% of the Huskies points this season, the free throws only 11%.
* Sarah has 53 blocked shots and only 54 personal fouls. Add in her 111 steals and it is obvious why her defense is so “Strong.”
* Four Huskies have appeared in all 34 games this season. Azzi is the only one to start all 34. Ash started 33 and played in the 34th, giving up her starting spot for Senior night. Allie and Kayleigh have also appeared in all 34 games.
* Allie and Azzi have the lowest personal fouls with 24 each. In sharp contrast, Crash Heckel has 59 and Bulldozer Blanca has 53.
* Finally, UConn has created 834 turnovers and handed out 806 assists.
