UConn is now 26-0 and the stats are impressive. Some are also funny and some just strange.
Consider:
1. The Huskies have scored 2,340 points, which is exactly 90.0 points per game. Opponents have scored only 50 per game.
2. Only Azzi and Ashlynn have started every game this season. (Allie and Kayleigh have played in all 26 games.)
3. Sarah leads the team in points (477), rebounds (195), assists (111), blocked shots (38), steals (81) and made field goals (192).
4. Allie is now the 3rd leading scorer with 214 points. She has made 45 of her last 73 three point shots. That is 62%..! (Thanks to Sluconn Husky for that great stat.)
5. Azzi has 3 times as many steals (62) as she has personal fouls (20). She has 4 times as many assists (80) as fouls.
6. Kayleigh (K9) Heckel, with 183 points, has scored only 1 less that Serah and 7 more points than KK.
7. UConn is shooting 40.3% from three point range. Opponents are only hitting 26.6%..!
8. The Huskies have been called for 350 fouls, the same as their opponents. But, UConn has taken 335 foul shots to only 279 for opponents. (don’t foul shooters)
9. Kelis has taken 18 free throws, Ash only 12.
10. UConn has 406 steals in 26 games for an average of 15.6 per game..!
Get healthy and prepare for tournament time..!
