4th 3 of the season. Like leaving Kelly's bad shooting sister open.
 
Great Win by St Johns They deserved to Win.

Really question the intentional fouls called by Geno. Poor defense led to the wide open three point shot.
 
Ice had it right - team defense was weak at too many points throughout the night. Obviously turnovers, too many folks trying to force a lot of plays - maybe wanting it too much.

Sorry, gang, we didn't deserve to win this game, even if we had pulled it out. I can't remember when we've played so poorly. Very disappointing...
 
If St Johns wins out and UConn loses to ND, does that mean UConn finishes 3rd in the Big East?

You would have thought they would have guarded the 3 and let them take a chance on a two to go to OT. Oh well. What can you do? You can't win them all.
 
Hate to say it but Geno's strategy of fouling so early contributed to that loss. Big time.

Standard strategy. It is what you do to force them to waste time on resets.

Didn't notice if we were in zone on the last possession - did anyone see? I can't replay , no DVR
 
The game was lost on the TOs and the failure to keep SJ off the offensive boards. All in all it was a fairly well called game.
