rut roh. upset alert. UCONN not settling down in the 2nd h alf either. yuck

Eliminate the negative energyand focus on goals.

The arms up position is when she doesn't get called providing she maintains her feet.Last year when she was called for few fouls that was the position she held steadfastly. This year she tends to move or lean.

Translation, please?

Ice, Meaghan didn't imagine the contact. It was there. A clear foul? Obviously not but she's playing with fire with contact on the shooter right in front of the ref. It's fine if you're in position to 'hold steadfastly' but that was precisely my point, she wasn't quite in position to do so.

Let's just play our game. Let's not play not to lose!
it seems that close games they feel they should win really get in their heads. in spite of how physical the L'ville game was, no reason it should h ave been a 10 point win. same with this game. SJU is a solid team. they are not the #1 team in the nation but UCONN is playing them like they are.

Uconn is losing the turnover battle 13-6. Ugh!

Mike rewatch it. Stef had position and the player came into her space. That is not a foul on her under the rules.
