If you have not already read Husky Nan's great write up on tonite's game, please check it out. Here's is a statistical look at UConn and tonite's opponent, St. Joseph's. Enjoy....

1. UConn has now scored 2,899 points in 35 games. That's an average of 82.8 per game. St. Joe's averages 72.1 per game, but in their 9 losses the average was only 64.6 per.

2. St. Joe's gets to the free throw line more than UConn, 575 attempts vs 565 for the Huskies. They also make more 460 (80.0%) vs. 428 (75.8%). Erin Shields, St Joe's leading scorer makes 95% of her free throw attempts..!! Oh yeah, KML makes 95.5% of her free throws.

3. UConn is averaging less than 12 fouls per game. The Huskie w/ the most fouls this season is Stef Dolson w/ 76. Last year Stef had 72 for the whole season (38 games). Stewie is next w/ 57. That is 1.63 fouls per game.

4. Four UConn players have started every game this year and played over 1,000 minutes each. Dolson has 1,112 minutes of 31.8 per game. Hartley is next, 1,103 or 31.5. Then Stewie at 1,045 (29.9 avg.) and MoJeff w/ 1,014 (29.0 avg.).

5. St. Joe's has 99 blocked shots this season. Stewie has 96, by herself, and Kiah has 84. UConn's total of 287 is close to Baylor's record w/ B. Griner.

6. UConn has made 267 of 714 three point shots (37.4%). Five players have more than 28 made 3's. Bria leads w/ 71, then KML w/ 56, then Stewie w/ 45, Saniya has 30 and MoJeff has 29. St. Joe's actually has a player w/ 92 made 3's (Shields), but next in line only has 21.

7. Stewie needs 12 points to reach 700 points, 4 blocks to go over 100 for the season and 13 rebounds to surpass 300. She already has 111 assists & 56 steals. That would put her in the 700, 300, 100, 100 and 50 club. (Only Maya and Tina have scored 700 in a season.)

8. MoJeff has 93 steals and 174 assists vs. only 61 turnovers. She leads the starters in field goal percentage at 57.8% (137-237). She has taken just 10.9% of UConn's shots. Stewie has the most at 24.0%.

9. UConn has created 608 turnovers in 35 games (17.4 avg.) Opponents have 642 made baskets, so there is almost an equal chance opponents will turn the ball over vs. make a basket. If they do shoot, there is a 69.7% chance it won't go in. UConn makes 51% of their shots.

10. Tonight is the last "home" start for Stef Dolson and Bria Hartley. Stef will play in her 150th game at UConn and Bria in her 149th. Go Stef and Bria..!!!
