13 points for Kyla Irwin on Saturday.
"Danger" is her middle name?!Danger she is...
Yep, people keep messing up her last name...."Field"."Danger" is her middle name?!
Jonathan Hemingway was at last weekend's Blackman-Riverdale game. His take:
2. Crystal Dangerfield: On Time, Every Time
Rarely does the top point guard in the class of 2016 disappoint. In fact in moments which are biggest, the UConn commit delivers in the biggest ways. Friday night was no different as she saw her team down double digits on their home floor before the midway point of the first quarter. The 5-foot-6 guard dialed up the heat and turned defensive steals into transition points. The Lady Blaze erased the Riverdale lead mostly behind the buckets of Dangerfield. In the end she would lead all scorers with 21 points, but it would be her unfettered attitude that kept her teammates in the game.

Ya it's almost like somebody planned it that way (duhit's kind of funny how we have KML who is a senior and next season we'll have KLS who is an amazing shooter and we'll have Danger coming in right after MoJeff graduates! We are very lucky fans!
)Glad to hear that Lou is back--and playing well.Katie Lou Samuelson returned with a bang from her knee injury Tuesday scoring 31 points and hitting 6 threes.
Crystal Dangerfield had 10 points and 4 assists for Blackman.
A triple-double--nice!Napheesa Collier scored 26 points ( 9-13 fg, 2-3 3-pt, 6-7 ft) with 11 rebounds, 3 steals, and 3 blocks in limited minutes Tuesday. That came in an IW win to open a tournament, the semi-finals and final of which will be broadcast online this Friday and Saturday.
Also, the box score to Collier's previous game on 1/29 is now up:
28 points (12-18 fg, 1-2 3-pt, 3-4 ft), 12 rebounds, 10 steals, 4 assists, and 2 blocks.
Not really. Ideally one would want a one year overlap, especially for a point guard.
Agree, where did that come from?Which post is this in response to ?
Have you seen her play? She may not need much easing inAgree, where did that come from?
If he's talking about Dangerfield, yea there is not an overlap with Jefferson. However, she will have Nurse and Chong to ease her in.
Yes, and I'm hoping she doesn't need much. But it's always better to ease them in. Especially a PG. She can come in, give a spark, do her thing, but won't have to run the show her first year.Have you seen her play? She may not need much easing in
And Williams.Agree, where did that come from?

I was just thinking of PGs, or one who would be playing PG.And Williams.
These 2 girls are going to be dynamic playing together for 3 years.Katie Lou Samuelson returned with a bang from her knee injury Tuesday scoring 31 points and hitting 6 threes.
Crystal Dangerfield had 10 points and 4 assists for Blackman.
Once again, Napheesa sounds like Maya.Dawn Staley:
"Napheesa Collier, I love her, I love her to death. She doesn't take a play off, she can shoot it, she can post up, she can run the floor. She is definitely going to add to what Connecticut does, she is adding another great player."
