De'janae I guess is stronger than her wiry body would indicate............It's great to see the girls get along so well.

Crystal idolizes Moriah. I wonder that she was thinking at about 10:30 PM on Tuesday. :)

Hey Lauren Cox, listen up: "... he's (coach Auriemma) also known for cultivating his players' teamwork skills and stretching them to achieve their best. His players applaud him for how well he prepares them for the game. They praise how well he's able to motivate and challenge them. And his demands for greatness, some of them have said, helped them reach goals they didn't know they were capable of meeting."

How great do you want to be, Lauren? How many National Championships do you want to win? Geno is THE ONLY ONE who can make those dreams come true. Join us.

Katie Lou wins OCRegister's POY for the third straight year:

What does Auriemma see when he compares Samuelson to Taurasi?

“They are both really, really hard to play against,” Auriemma said in an email. “They are both unselfish, great teammates and great scorers. They just come at it from a different perspective because they play different positions. But in terms of how they love the game and love to compete and rise to the occasion, I would say the two of them are very similar.”

Whoops, guess the Espinosa-Hunter news was mentioned in another thread a while ago. Oh well, if I didn't see it maybe others didn't either.

Crystal Dangerfield in AAU action this weekend. She seems to be playing for Kentucky Premier and not Tennessee Flight for some reason though.

She'll have to be really really really good to wear number 4, else the weight of that number will crush her.
We got more than 4,000 points and 2,000 rebounds from #31 over 8 seasons and 5,000 points and 700 treys from #23 over 8 seasons. It's only fitting that #4 gives us several hundred steals, a couple thousand assists, and millions of thrills. :)

Irwin really intrigues me - a coaches daughter who eats sleeps and breaths basketball. Quick and athletic enough to play VB (a fast game requiring good footwork and quick reactions and elevation.) She appears to have very good post moves and a nice touch from distance. But ... the competition level has generally not been national - so how what we see translates to the top level of college ball is very difficult to determine - similar to both Dolson and Chong in that respect.
