Anything open late, after the games tonight? If anybody is looking for nice places around the stadium to pregame I would look at Clydes and Carmines.
Clydes is right across the way from Capital One and Carmines is a block or so away. Carmines is also good for any really big parties (one of the biggest restaurants in DC) for any big get togethers.
Clydes is open until 2. Will for sure be packed in there afterwards.Anything open late, after the games tonight?
Old Ebbitt ---Best pork chop I have ever hadClydes is open until 2. Will for sure be packed in there afterwards.
Hamilton and Old Ebbitt are nice upscale bars a part of the same company thats not far from the arena too if youre looking for more space. Not walkable but maybe a 5-10 minute uber.
Theres two divebars across the street called rocketbar and jackpot if thars youre style.
If you do decide to go to the Hamilton make sure it's Hamilton on 14th Street. There's a few Hamiltons in the area that it can get mixed up with.
Is that the place that is right at the entrance to Gallery Place? Yeah, that will be packed. I'd pick another place if you're going tonight.Clydes will be packed to the gills. Before and after.
It is. Which is why Old Ebitt and the Hamilton may be better options. Is that the place that is right at the entrance to Gallery Place? Yeah, that will be packed. I'd pick another place if you're going tonight.
Ask if they will root for UConnMatchbox was packed. Im in 106 w a lot of Johnnies fans around. They are amped.....
Dude, I told them that for this game only, Go Johnnies.Ask if they will root for UConn
Mine is 400, which is as high as I've ever received from the school. I'm just hoping I'm surrounded by UConn fans![]()
I thought there were a lot of UConn fans. I was at the Philly games too and I actually thought there were way more fans last night than Philly. Philly was oddly quiet to me. I was in section 430 and the fans were LOUD.those that were there - how was the turnout for us?
Went to Clyde's after the game, good crowd, but not too croweded , plenty of room. I also went to one of the dive bars and immediately walked out.Clydes will be packed to the gills. Before and after.
How's Old Ebitt to watch the games tonight? It is. Which is why Old Ebitt and the Hamilton may be better options.
Better restaurants/bars anyways. With a lot more space.
Should be good. I haven't went there in a very long time (I usually go to the Hamilton or Clyde’s), but if you're able to grab a seat at the bar they should have TVs available to watch. How's Old Ebitt to watch the games tonight?
