UConn Rutgers AAC semi-final game thread

No one has said anything about the announcing crew...I think they are doing a great job staying with the game action and not wandering off into long winded stories despite the large point differential.

They apparently think she's out with mono.

It's not as if she has a reputation as a shooter or anything. She only led the entire nation last year and made AA. She's been a great shooter since she was 14.
 
Refs appear to be working to the score - no foul shots for the team with the big lead.
 
All our starters are in double-figures. All 5 past, current, and future All-Americans.

. Beth Mowins and Brooke Weisbrod have called UConn's conference tourneys on previous occasions with positive results. They're pros.
 
We have to pray that UConn's guards avoid foul trouble going forward. Chong and Banks are not looking good.

Level of play has really dropped off with both players in. Both look out of it. That is disappointing for this time of year. Especially seeing they were given so much time with KML out.

I understand that they were up 31 at the half and the game was essentially over but the 2nd half was one of the worst played halves of the year by UConn.
 
The 3 bench players can't be on the floor at the same time, the defense, and offense are terrible right now.

. It was really good with Stewie and KML, but has languished since they sat.
 
This second half is making mincemeat of our point differential stat. Still, it is getting some starters a rest for tomorrow.

I don't like the impact on our stats either, but the important points are to avoid injury and to win tomorrow.

Yeah, I noticed and it really pissed me off. Don't press to try to win, but press against the bench to help with MOV?
