I can get WRIU-FM in my house, a little disappointing that it is only on their internet stream. Still, I got home and turned on the broadcast. At least I can hear it, but it is not the same experience you get listening to Chris Jones.

UConn also needs to get Prato's bat back in the lineup. He's been the one freshman in the lineup who has been producing consistently.

P.J. Poulin in to pitch for the Huskies in the 5th.

Poulin had a 1-2-3 5th inning with little difficulty. So far that is two good relief appearances since his solid start last week, with none of the customary struggles with his control that we had come to expect from him. I may be reading two much into this, but perhaps that successful start did wonders for his confidence. Time will tell if he becomes a different pitcher.

Actually, given the last several years of UConn bringing California JUCOS, I'm expecting that it will happen again next season as well.

Actually, given the last several years of UConn bringing California JUCOS, I'm expecting that it will happen again next season as well.

We were going to have two this year, but Matt Hearn ended up signing with the braves. Penders really does like his CA JUCOs.
