UConn Reverse Sheep Trivia 2025

Rules:
  • There are two types of questions: Sheep questions (1-13) and Reverse Sheep questions (14-25).
  • For Sheep questions (1-13), you want to answer what you think will be given most often by other people. For example, if the question is "Name a Duke player" a good answer is Christian Laettner and a bad answer might be Nick Horvath.
  • For Reverse Sheep questions (14-25), you want to give the answer that you think will be given least often by other people. For example, if the question is "Name a basketball conference in the NCAA," the ACC might be a terrible answer while the Horizon League could be a good choice.
  • In Sheep questions, you get one negative point for every person that gives the same answer as you, including yourself. For example, if you and six other people said Laettner, all seven of you would get -7 points.
  • In Reverse Sheep questions, you get one positive point for every person that gives the same answer as you, including yourself. If you and ten other people said the ACC, you would get 11 points.
  • Incorrect answers in Reverse Sheep get the number of points for the answer with the most votes + 1, making it worse than giving the worst correct answer. Incorrect answers for Sheep questions will be worth 0.
  • The lowest total score wins. In the above two examples, your current score would be –7 + 11 = 4.
  • No using Google, Wikipedia, etc. if you don't have to. Try to remain moral in this (i.e. don't use them to cheat).
  • Fill out the Google Form to submit your answers. Do not post your responses in this thread or tell anyone else.
  • Answers are due by Friday May 16 at 11:59PM ET. Answers will be revealed over the following days

All questions refer to the UConn Men's Basketball program unless otherwise specified.

Without further ado, here are the questions:

Sheep Questions (1-12):
1. Name a UConn lottery pick in the Dan Hurley era
2. Name an opponent UConn defeated in the 2023-24 NCAA Tournament
3. Name a walk on who played at UConn after 2000
4. Name a PG to start for UConn in a national championship game
5. Name a current Big East basketball school (non-UConn)
6. Name a 2x National Champion UConn Husky
7. Name an NBA teammate of Steph Castle
8. Name a UConn men's basketball head coach
9. Name a player to shoot 90+% from the FT line in a season
10. Name a UConn player from the state of Connecticut (Official UConn bio will be the reference)
11. Name an assistant coach at UConn under Jim Calhoun
12. Name someone to both play and hold a coaching/admin role for UConn


Bonus 2x-Points Sheep Question:
How many times has the UConn men’s basketball team reached the Final Four?

Reverse Sheep Questions (14-25):
14. Name a UConn player with 50+ made 3PT FGs in a season
15. Name a UConn assistant coach under Kevin Ollie
16. Name a scholarship player on the 2022-23 UConn national championship team
17. Name a player to play 3+ years at both UConn and in the NBA
18. Name a school UConn has a losing record against all-time
19. Name a school UConn shared a conference with that is a current member of the P4 conference
20. Name a player with 75+ games started at UConn
21. Name a player to have 10+ assists in a game for UConn
22. Name a 2nd round NBA draft pick from the Calhoun/Ollie eras
23. Name a member of the Huskies of Honor
24. Name a player to score 20+ points in an NCAA Tournament game for UConn
25. Name a season that UConn spent at least 10 weeks ranked in the AP Poll

Thanks, just fixed the questions on this thread. Shifted some questions around on the doc when I realized the 5 assists and 5 rebound question had way fewer answers than I thought

All questions are about UConn unless it was explicitly stated, you can edit your submission though to change answers

Honestly, I wish I didn't include that question or tweaked the parameters slightly. It was a bad question and also unintentionally tricky

I went with a non-UConn player since there is only one right answer and that one is a bit tricky because he made enough for the UConn record book but didn't make enough to qualify on other lists.

There are multiple right answers. I'll explain why I put the question once the period to submit has closed. I debated scrapping the question but I don't think that's fair since the vast majority answered it with no issue
