I'm assuming AD's ask each other for interview requests as a courtesy....BUT the coach being interviewed may be required by his contract to notify the HC and AD of a interview request as per their contract. Some coaches will deny a Asst an interview if it is done in season..like Urban Meyer talked about with Luke Fickell and the FIU opening.
