Others receiving votes in AP Poll: Tennessee 71, Houston 57, Iowa 51, UNLV 33, New Mexico 20, South Florida 11, SMU 8, Iowa St. 4, Arizona St. 3, Louisville 3, UConn 3, North Dakota St. 3, Illinois 2, Washington 1, Pittsburgh 1, San Diego St. 1.
North Dakota State with 3 votes?
Me, live 15 minutes from their campusWho knew Kennesaw St. was FBS?
Hilas is now unemployed - no vote to be had. Also, according to this link we picked up votes from Brett Mcmurphy (23) and Chad Bishop (25) of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. I don't see any votes from Mike Hlas, so perhaps he didn't vote this week? If he didn't and slotted us at 24 again we would have had 7 votes in each poll
Oh wow, didn't realize he lost his job/left.Hilas is now unemployed - no vote to be had.
He posted that the newspaper he worked for was bought and that he would not be retained. He went out with a bang (for us anyways).Oh wow, didn't realize he lost his job/left.
Up to 7 votes in the coaches poll too. I don't think Army is a strong enough opponent to get us actually ranked after the bowls, but one can dream.
I personally would rather be in the Big 12. Football is better, basketball would be better than the Big East, baseball woukd be great. It's the Big 12 versus the ACC in a bidding war for us
We only have 2 realistic options, ACC and B12, and we say "yes please" to whichever one invites us first.Big 12: No regional rivals. Horrendous travel. Only as a last resort P4 option.
