UConn received a vote in the latest AP poll (Updated)

I'm honestly even happier about the 4 votes in the coaches poll.

Deserved.

This team was getting absolutely trashed a few years ago in the bottom 10 articles (which I think is the dumbest writing on espn, and that's saying something).

Now, 13 points from being 12-0. Just A FEW timely plays from being a top 25 team.

All without power conference money.
Three points, actually. One more point in regulation in each of the three losses.

Others Receiving Votes

Arizona State 86; Navy 58; Washington 39; Missouri 32; Iowa 32; Arizona 30; San Diego State 29; Houston 22; Penn State 4; Illinois 4; Connecticut 4; UNLV 2; South Florida
You’ve got to think this helps Mora in transfer portal.

Do you think Fran Brown gave us a vote?
How did that guy not get fired? He still might if he loses to BC. He has a P4 team without even a hint of a backup quarterback? And they completely fell apart after the injury. Seemed like they basically quit. Their offense as bad but seriously? Usually you see a team put up a fight somewhere along the line. The Orange just quit.

Same reason we didnt fire Mora after 2023, you hope the season is just an aberration

While it's kind of an apples to oranges comparison (the expectations at Cuse are much higher than they were here in 2023) I agree with the overall sentiment. Brown has had some good seasons there. Firing him in a year where he lost his starting QB just because his backup was atrocious and the team fell apart would feel a little asinine.

I honestly hate that Angeli went down. They're killing our SoS lol

North Dakota State with 3 votes?

Also, according to this link we picked up votes from Brett Mcmurphy (23) and Chad Bishop (25) of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. I don't see any votes from Mike Hlas, so perhaps he didn't vote this week? If he didn't and slotted us at 24 again we would have had 7 votes in each poll

Edit: Come on Arruda. You put Duke 25th but you can't even rank your home team? We beat them...
