UConn @ Quinnipiac (Tuesday 10/16/18 @ 7:00p)

UConn has not been very competitive the last three times they have played. The last time at Quinnipiac, Letunov had a game misconduct in the first period and it was pretty much over after that. Hopefully, UConn will have a better performance tonight.

Both teams are playing a lot of freshmen.

Each of UConn’s first three games is an additional step up in competition so we will how they perform as the opposition’s talent level increases.

I am looking forward to seeing Iskhakov against a step up in competition, too.

For those of you going, be prepared for QU students to shout “safety school” at you and the sort of mind bending questioning of reality that comes with encountering such an insane proclamation.

LOL. What do you expect from an academically inferior student body?

Game might sell out. Just ordered a ticket. Now gotta leave soon.

Huskies played a better game back when Grogan was goalie. Sloppy play.

A solid two shot on goal performance in the second period. The last shot coming with about 3 seconds remaining.

Did we even have a shot on the 5 minute pp?

That power play needs some serious work. Completely ineffective tonight.

Just got back. Man, that hit!

I didn’t see fully. I just saw the very end of the aftermath/hit, but not really how it happened. It looked like #34 wasn’t fully paying attention and the QU and him connected. However, obviously the QU player was ready for it and lowered his shoulder while the UConn wasn’t ready for it.

I didn’t see it. But people told me there was blood. Probably a bloody nose.

Hoping for a speedy recovery. Let’s hope he can come back from this healthy. Most likely a concussion and will be out for PC game

Defense is horrible. That kondelik is a big dude.

Miles being out is rough

Im really worried about that hit to Ruslan Ishkakov. He was suppose to be our guy this year. Its a brutal hit regardless what team you were rooting for. He put a thumb up as he got taken off the ice so I hope all is well with him.

There was a decent amount of blood on the ice.

It did seem like a clean hit, but didn't play out as one.

We play very undisciplined. Teach the kids discipline, Mike.

He saw the hit coming. He was hit by a bigger player.

Yeah, now that I see the video. I missed how it happened. I just saw the contact live. Man, he’s 5’7” 165 lbs freshman and the QU player was 6’1” 191 pounds junior.

They were moving too.
