In keeping with that great video of UConn alumnae recognizing the program for equaling the first run of 90 consecutive wins, who all do we make sure we remember?

2008-2010:

Maya Moore
Tiffany Hayes
Cassie Kearns
Tahirah Williams
Renee Montgomery
Tina Charles
Heather Buck
Tahira Williams
Meghan Gardler
Jacquie Fernandes
Caroline Doty
Kaili McClaren
Kalana Greene
Kelly Faris
Samarie Walker
Bria Hartley
Stef Dolson

2014-2017:

Kiah Stokes
Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis
Breanna Stewart
Moriah Jefferson
Morgan Tuck
Saniya Chong
Gabby Williams
Kia Nurse
Courtney Ekmark (yes, I know)
Katie Lou Samuelson
Napheesa Collier
Crystal Dangerfield
Molly Bent
Kyla Irwin
Tierney Lawlor
Briana Pulido

I've included transfers, but no one who never played at all (like DJB).

Am I forgetting someone? I'm sure I am.

So far the only thing the current players remember is "Maya Moore and the others."

Let's include Loren Dixon?

But on Senior Night, even Maya gave a special post-game shoutout to fellow senior Lorin Dixon with mic in hand for her post-game speech.

Because that's what Maya Moore does...

What about Natalie Butler.

I knew I'd have serious brain farts, but I'd rather try and embarrass myself than not try at all. Indeed, of course Natalie is on the list.

What about that other Breanna from Florida who transferred to Penn State. Wasn't she in there somewhere? Or did she leave between the streaks? Her last name escapes me at the moment.

Banks was on the 47-game streak, but on neither 90-game streak, IIRC. She transferred after 2013-14, did she not?

I have no problem labeling those 90 games as Maya's streak. Maya's impact and influence actually has seemed to become underappreciated by UConn fans. She's certainly by far the primary reason the streak ever got to 90. That Maya is what the current players remember about the streaks should actually be pretty telling about Maya's lasting influence over the current culture of the team ,and why some of those current players chose UConn.

Sadie Edwards played in a few games before transferring, though not much.

Yes because she came in with Dolson and Hartley. I believe that was the Dolson-Hartley-Engeln-Johnson-Banks class.
Banks was in KML and Stokes's class. Samarie Walker completed the Dolson-Hartley class.

I think the Tina Charles NPOY banner might have caught their attention, though the mural of Magnificent Maya is even more conspicuous.

You are correct, but she was a bench player only and had very little influence over Wins #79-#90. She and MJ count, but her omission in my OP was conscious and reasoned. Samarie Walker contributed more to those final 12 wins than Engeln or Johnson.

Samarie Walker should be struck from the list on principle.

Hi. I am a new member to the Boneyard in Arizona. Courtney Ekmark recently transferred to ASU. What was the reference to her in the previous post about?

Welcome - I'm in AZ too. Reference to Ekmark is she was part of a UConn team involved in the current 90-game winning streak. I'm looking forward to seeing her play at ASU next year.
