Kristi Toliver. Plays PG (like Shea), won several WNBA championships with the Sparks and Mystics and was an assistant for the NBA Wizards. At the end of her career now, she might retire for a coaching opportunity like this. Perfect mentor for Paige, Evina and Nika.

She was briefly after Sue got injured. She was miserable and UConn had a terrible year (1 of only 2 since 1994 that they didn’t make the E8).

Sue Bird would make a fabulous coach in the right situation at the right time. She is one of the smartest people in the game, has the personality and reputation, and works really hard. If she ever decides to coach, some team will be getting an absolute winner. It could be in the NBA.
