Souleymane was my man.... not really, but lived on a floor with him. A few other players lived on my floor as well (Watson 5).
A few friends and myself made a TV show for UCTV. Souleymane guest starred for about 10 seconds one time. He was a nice dude. Frankly, most of the players that lived on my floor were. They weren't around a lot. In particular during the season. But they all seemed cool. Smoked weed with Khalid a couple times... which is a bit ironic.
This was my squad. I knew they'd beat Duke. Not a doubt in my mind. I haven't been as sure of an outcome since. I actually was done in 98. Lived in Los Angeles in 99. I told everyone I knew UCONN was gunna win. 100%. The non UCONN fans in LA thought I was crazy.
