I believe it was Milford who reported a conversation with Azzi's parents in which they expressed a hope/expectation that Azzi would be able to play in that Georgetown game. I would attach more weight to that than to the medical opinion of Dr. Vowelguy. The GTown game in early Jan would’ve been a homecoming game for Azzi, sorta Paige, and somewhat Saylor and Mir.
Now none will be playing then.
As of Saturday, Katie was hoping for Azzi to return for the Georgetown game at the latest. That meant that the Marquette and DePaul games were possible. Today, there is word that she will be re-evaluated. Is that good or bad? I'm not sure.I believe it was Milford who reported a conversation with Azzi's parents in which they expressed a hope/expectation that Azzi would be able to play in that Georgetown game. The blog is called the Stanford Cardboard?I don't know if this is true, or if anyone has already posted this, but scanning the Stanford Cardboard this morning I found an interesting tidbit. It was said that Tara asked Brink what happened to Azzi. She replied that she dropped a dumbbell on her foot which led to her current problems. Again, just reading this, but I have not heard anything like this. Has anyone else?
