CT sports fans have always shown that they will support what they view as big time. Just ask the Wolfpack and the 4,000 per game mourge like att @ the XL....and if winning in the AHL is a formula to increase attendance or if it'll ever prove that CT is any closer to getting back into the NHL. ( despite Bettman). Keep relegating down and you just guarantee you'll never see big time again, IMHO...So winning as is an Indy (vs the P-5's) and a promotion up should be the only plan. Anything else just shows that the AD gave up to the Uconn FB haters in CFB, as a team that used to be a BCS member and they've finally put us just where they want us.
