Oh, How the mighty have fallen. Well the only direction is up (I think)! At least we fans can now focus on things other than rankings. We have one month left to make up some ground, I don't expect a BE run like last year, so the team will most likely need to make noise the regular season.
 
We don't need the Ap or the coaches to tell us what we've been eyeballin', but they will anyway.
 
What's messed up is Syracuse leaps Ohio State into the #2 spot when Syracuse was saved by a blown goaltending call and Ohio State beat a ranked team.

10 games left. but seeing as UCONN has lost 5 out of it's last 7 games, something needs to change or we will be NIT bound. not trying to be all hysterical, but we are 14-6. if we don't beat any of the ranked teams we play (Georgetown, marquette and syracuse x2), i'd guess we need to get to 20 wins to be NCAA bound.

What are these coaches seeing? 21 is about 21 spots too high. If they're smart, then they're drooling for an opportunity to pounce on an unmotivated and merely average UConn team. Talented, yes, but a light on or fire lit?...not so much.

I guess if John Henson or Tyler Zeller manage to sneak up the charts, then they would join Ed Davis, as part of 2009-2010 unc squad with two lotto guys that didn't make the tourney.

I can't think of any other team.
 
Out of the polls is a blessing - this team needs a kick in the @ss of some sort that showing up doesn't win games. Been a fan for a long time and this may be the first time I've ever preferred seeing a Uconn team unranked.
 
This team is flat out terrible right now. not sure if anyone has noticed but we havent scored 70 points in a single game since December!!!:eek: this team is showing absolutely zero signs of getting it together right now and the schedule is about to get really tough. if this team is going to wake up they better do it now before march comes around and we`re sitting at 17-13 which is a one way ticket to NIT LAND.
Its crazy to think of the expectations many had of this team going into the season to where it is now. smdh.
 
Good they dont deserve it not that they arent trying hard it was embarrassing to see this team ranked
