also considering the legends classic twitter tweeted this out after BYU was officially confirmed, I'd assume they got confirmation from all 4 schools about their commitment to the event.

Makes sense only if we swap with BC. Since non con games are a premium this year it makes sense for us to get better opponents and BC to get winnable games cuz they would go 0-2 otherwise. Vandy and BYU (BYU lost a ton) aren’t great and USC is so-so. Baylor and ASU are top-25.

We can’t swap with BC. Isn’t there a rule where you can’t face conference opponents in pre-season MTEs?

Memphis and Wichita are playing in the same MTE this year. Unusual, but not impossible.
