First of all, game vs Cincy at 4pm today is really all that matters. Win that and I feel REAL good about where we are. But there are a ton of games today so lets take a look…
Current Rankings: Kenpom #24, RPI #36
Top Conferences
#8 Xavier (23-3) vs Georgetown (14-13)
-Would be a huge win for Georgetown. Currently Kenpom #64, RPI #86. We cant have them slip out of the RPI top 100. This is probably the game that could most help our ratings of all the games today.
Pittsburgh (18-7) vs Syracuse (18-9)
-As much as I hate rooting for Syracuse (my God, I hate it) this would be a good win for us AND help knock Pitt further down the bubble. I wish Pitt lost to Wake Forest so bad…
#25 Baylor (19-7) vs #24 Texas (17-9)
-That Texas win! Would love to see them pull this victory out. At home I think they have a great shot. Texas is Currently RPI #22 and Kenpom #23 so win or lose they will still be doing great things for our resume.
Ohio State (17-10) vs Nebraska (14-13)
-This would completely crush Ohio State if they lose this game. This is a must win for them. Nebraska is not a horrible team, but Ohio State has got to win. Currently RPI #80 and Kenpom #65
Saint Mary’s (21-4) vs Gonzaga (21-6)
-HUGE West Coast conference game. We need this Gonzaga win, for both us and SMU. Gonzaga is already way on the bubble, they cannot afford to lose this game. RPI #64 and Kenpom #31
Mid Majors
UMass Lowell (11-16) vs Binghamton (6-20)
-This would be a nice little victory. Kenpom projects a 1 point loss here but would be great to see them pull out the victory
Furman (17-11) vs Wofford (14-14)
-Completely forgot we played Furman this season haha. Furman has actually been a decent mid-major out of conference opponent that we played with an RPI of 157 and Kenpom #163. Would love to see them win and break into the RPI top 150.
Sacred Heart (10-16) vs Fairleigh Dickinson (13-13)
-Again, this would be nice but don’t invest too much into it haha. Sacred Heart is currently RPI #271 and Kenpom #287. They aren’t going very much up or down either way haha.
New Hampshire (16-10) vs Hartford (8-20)
-See above. New Hampshire should win this, but don’t invest too much.

-Memphis has just absolutely imploded. What a terrible loss for them.
