UConn will go on the power play. Roughing on OSU.

.-.
OSU kills it…and now UConn needs to be careful.

UConn is scrapping…too much OSU time in our end with 10:00 left in the game.

Hard time getting out of the zone in the 3rd. And that results in a 3-3 tie With 6:20 left. Really let this one get away…looked like a blow out.

Not watching it but our power play needs to step up. A 5 on 3 for a minute and we get nothing at all?

Had a chance or two…the 5 on 3 was for about 50 secs or so if I remember correctly.

Just turned on the Ohio State audio stream as well. I never had a problem with listening to games without the video.
I used to listen to the Whalers on the radio back in the early days…if I can see it, I’ll pay for it these days. I just like to do me..ya know?

57 left in the game. 3-3,. Draw in the UConn end.

OT here we come. Disappointing. Who knew a 3-0 lead was a tough one to hold?

Nothing wrong with that. I just think too many people automatically dismiss radio as a way to follow games. With the right announcers (and that can be tough to come by these days), it can be quite a good way to follow a team. Which is the big reason I'm such a big UConn baseball fan these days, but that is another story and another sport.

unreal…BU redux…UConn loses 4-3. Terrible.

The problem is when you grow up listening to Chuck Kaiton anyone else doing hockey play-by-play sounds bad.

In terms of hockey, I grew up listening to Marv Albert doing radio ice hockey play by play. He may be known more for his basketball play by play, but I thought he was quite good doing hockey as well.

Have to confess, I was introduced to following the Whalers by my girlfriend (now my wife) in college, who was a huge Whaler fan dating back to the old WHA days. To be honest, she never cared for Kaiton. She was a big Bob Neumeyer fan, who did Whaler games prior to Kaiton coming on the scene.
