I'm worried enough about losing this game that I can't really think about whether we should hold anything back . . .

How about Temple last year? You usually don't wanna start your eat clock offense halfway through the third...
Ur right, Temple probably was THE worst.. Vandy gets a back seat because it was on the road...

For Towson, this is what I'm looking for from the team.

I want to see is crisp execution regardless of who is in the game.

I want the play in to the huddle early, the play clearly called, the huddle broken and the team hustling to the line. When we go no huddle, I want them hustling back to the line and resetting for the next play.

If we go with package personnel I want them switching out and no confusion as they run to/from the sideline.

If I see a single TO called by the coaches coming out of a TV timeout or after a change of possession, I want PP and GDL gone.

I want high yards per play on offense, good distances gained on first down and a TD ratio in the red zone.

On defense, I want consistent pressure at all levels.

You want to fire the offensive line coach for calling time outs :)

So basically you want Tom Brady and Pats offense! Its the first game of the season and their kids, mistakes will happen. I'll be happy if there's no 1 yard carry on first and 10..

Can you imagine the 30k or so collective groans when McCombs gains 2 yards up the middle on the first play from scrimmage?
