Bentley will claim the 16th.

Once again cav gets out coached. Merimack came out with energy in the third to score that goal. And lack of communication between our defesman that caused that goal. Well let's hope Michigan wins tonight so our season can continue because not ready for a long off season. And I don't get how we couldn't finish this game we beat them three times this year and couldn't beat them this time inexcusable!

After everything, I'd hate to lose the bid to a Big 10 team that finished six games under .500 on the season.
 
Scott Borek does not deserve that game at all, guy is such a baby all game long if you recall the game at Toscano this year he blew off the handshake line to go scream at the refs after the game. A game in which UConn won 5-2.

A Dmans turnover is not on Cav, that was just a terrible decision by Viking and then he doesn’t even follow up the play to at least engage a man for the rebound attempt. What you can blame Cav for is not pulling the goalie faster, I think they should’ve pulled moose with about 2 minutes or so left they had Mack hemmed in the zone for a good 25 seconds before and they were gassed.

It’s extremely difficult to beat the same team 3 times in the same season. UConn put 50 shots on goal. I don’t think the game outcome had anything to do with coaching. Unfortunately, UConn made two mistakes in their own end that cost them. I’n sure the kids feel terrible, but they will bounce back. They had a really good year.
 
Also no penalties in a 60min contest is absurd, not saying it would’ve mattered but still. The zebras love not calling anything in championship games.

I know. I like how the Merrimack coach figured out a way to have his team get out shot 50-25! Classic outmaneuvering!

Blaming Cav is absurd. 50 shots on goal!
 
Disappointed in the finish. That was the first time they were the better team in the final.

50 shots on goal, Merrimack blocked at least 20 more. No idea how many shot attempts UConn had

Tough to lose on such a bad turnover. Cannot blame Moose. Saved Scott on his brutal turnover too.

Just seems like something has been off with Muldowney for awhile. Cav said he was hurt but played through it. Maybe he never got back to full strength.

It’s possible UConn could play Michigan State in Worcester

Possible Matchups

Michigan vs Bentley
North Dakota vs Merrimack
Michigan State vs UConn
Western Michigan vs Minnesota State

Or would they switch UConn and Minnesota State so UConn doesn’t play so close to home and send them to Colorado
