Let's hope NCAA tourneys (and eventually Frozen Fours and even NCs) become a trend for UConn. I've missed caring about hockey since the Whalers left (ages ago now) and even though we lost a heartbreaker, yesterday's game was as good as it gets (except for the very end).

UMass got screwed or they would have beat WMich.

Playoff hockey is about whose hot. BC, Prov, Maine were not hot.

Though I see both the UConn and Maine losses to PSU in the same way. They both fell to a team with tremendous speed on the counter. We have better goaltending and puck control. Otherwise the games were very similar.

Listening to NHL network radio this morning on SXM. The host gave an update on the NCAA hockey tournament and the frozen 4. The guy couldn’t think of the name of the school that PENN State beat to go to the frozen four!!! LOL

2015 Providence was a 4 seed and sent to Providence even though Brown was the host. Providence rode it to a national title with the help of Matt O’Connor from BU
