Hockey East hasn’t updated the stats yet. At the end of the game the announcer said somebody got a 10 minute major. Anybody know what that was about??

Perhaps I shouldn't be saying this but as far as I'm concerned, the season is officially a success. Top four in conference, final four in the conference tournament and a pending NCAA tournament bid.

Every win from here on out is gravy.

Say it loud!! It is a success. Considering who we lost from last year this year has been great!! Celebrate this team. They are special.

Well done, Huskies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got my fingers crossed for the Manchester regional. Question is, does UConn need one more W to avoid being sent west? And what happens if Maine drops to 5 or 6? That would mean that they, and not UConn, would be in Manchester. But, if it is Manchester, we need to have BY meet up. Or perhaps the alumni association will have something.

Matching minors there is gross, mustard tried to throw a punch after they were engaged in a shoving match. The last game we played against PC we got penalized (5 min major) for a head contact roughing post whistle.
What was really funny was he punched Richitelli in the head trying to get at one on the UConn players.

I have never been to Toscano before tonight and I probably got spoiled. Unreal atmosphere, so glad Providence brought their band, made it even more fun.

The Ice Bus controlled most of the last 25 minutes of the game. Time to ship up to Boston, likely against national #1 BC unless there's an upset in the other quarterfinals

We’ve been there and done that. BC doesn’t scare us! Glad you were there tonight. It was definitely electric.

Walking down from the parking garage you could feel it. Just a great fun atmosphere! 2 teams that you kind of feel don’t like each other, hard hitting, similar styles. Shoutout to the UConn goalie. Muszliek made some great saves. I was surprised he was the starter. Made a kick save late in the third that was spectacular.

And what can you say about Shandor? That was Kirk Gibson territory!

We aren’t small and slow any more. We can play with anybody now

Has to be. The PC guy shoved the net into the boards and I saw the ref reacting. I didn't realize a penalty was called.
The linesman (Richitelle?) was brushed by the upended goal. Actually it was a very dangerous move. I wouldn't be surprised if #27 sits a game if they make the NCAA tournament.

But, otherwise all aces for the Huskies! Pairwise didn't budge post game, so I think we're a lock for the NCAA tournament. Playing with house money now!

Lol no he's not sitting a game for that. Richetelle is partially at fault for being lazy since thats his zone. He's supposed to hard stop at the red line to pick the puck out of the net if you watch the clip he stops but is being lazy and doesn't full on stop which causes him to drift behind the net a bit when said net gets thrown off. When it comes to refereeing evaluations one of the biggest things refs get criticized for is positioning on the ice.

The play by play guy from NESN just reeks Syracuse. Voice inflections going to break, non commital views toward referring calls and cliche sport phrases. Give me Joe D and Randy all day over these two sterile bores
Just watched the replay on ESPN+. After the UConn ENG the announcer did have a classic. “Clear the Pike, the Icebus is coming to Boston!” Loved that one!

Reeking of Syracuse is far more painful and debilitating than anything we can do to him...

I'm no fan of Richitelle, but you deliberately upend a 100 lbs goal and hit anyone, you should be in trouble. It was certainly intentional.

All good and let's not underestimate the importance of Spetz' hit on Kivioja - he crushed him and the team smelled blood!

I agree. Not too big of a fan of any HE official, but they are still the officials and players need to be respectful of them and accountable for their actions. that kid is a giant, and what he did intentionally could have been much worse if richitelle was a few feet ahead. 27 should sit for at least a game.
