UConn - Quinnipiac
Chip also recently tweeted Yale's OOC schedule for 17-18 and UConn wasn't on there, for whatever that's worth.
Quinnipiac is half way to a Hockey East Schedule
Yeah but I'll be shocked if Q joins Hockey East. I don't see the benefit for either party. Why make it tougher to get to the NCAA
A Hartford Courant Mike Anthony article at the end of the season mentioned briefly UConn's non conference schedule for next season:
2 home games against Ohio State
2 away games against Miami (Ohio)
Single games against Quinnipiac, Brown, RIT, Colgate, Sacred Heart. UConn would also open the season with two road games against Maine.
UConn Hockey Slowly Putting It Together In Hockey East
UMass Lowell and Providence have released their schedules, so we now have a couple of home games to put on the calendar. UMass Lowell visits Hartford on Saturday, November 18th and Providence comes in on Thursday, January 18th. With Hockey East now playing a 24-game schedule, there will be four teams that UConn plays 3X. Don't yet know which teams we'll play three against, but can confirm that it's not Lowell or PC.
The two home games vs. Ohio State are Friday, November 10 and Saturday, November 11. It would make sense to have one of these games in Bridgeport.
Given the attendance issues in Bridgeport why would it make sense to play anyone there, especially Ihio State?
With very rare exception, perhaps the convenience for an area and people who've previously proven they won't go to games in Bridgeport argument. @jho ?
Have anymore teams released their schedules?

We can add Merrimack to the schedule.

The schedule does seem to be front loaded with so many games being played before the Christmas break. It really shows up in February when there are only five games scheduled for the entire month.
I hope most of the Saturday game times are at night. Too many games were played in the afternoon.I also see 2 football games played on the same Saturday's as the Men's hockey.
The Nov. 18th game will have to be a matinee. Then I would guess 1 out of the ECU/Tulsa game will have a noon start so there should be at least 1 night game.
