Had the cross connected at 89:42, we could have pulled one out of our collective rumps. This game ends as a 1-1 tie.
Very close indeed.Had the cross connected at 89:42, we could have pulled one out of our collective rumps.
Depends on your perspective I guess. In the United Soccer Coaches poll from 9/14, they got 6 votes, which is a positive sign. They should finish in the top half of the conference and get the opportunity to make some postseason noise, but the schedule is going to be significantly harder from here on out.So I see the team hasn't lost. I don't keep well enough anymore, are they actually good or have they just not played anybody good yet? Just wondering if I need to temper expectations or not. Used to go to every home game when I was at UConn, but much has changed.
This team seems extremely offensively challenged.Depends on your perspective I guess. In the United Soccer Coaches poll from 9/14, they got 6 votes, which is a positive sign. The only good win they've had was the first game away at Syracuse, but tying (at the time) #8 UMass at home and tying Harvard who was just coming off wins vs Providence and Cal aren't bad results. They'll need to prove they can stack some W's and not just be hard to play against, but seems like the best team of the Gbandi era to me at least.
Temper expectations. I am a soccer novice, but by the eye test, corrections are needed. So I see the team hasn't lost. I don't keep well enough anymore, are they actually good or have they just not played anybody good yet? Just wondering if I need to temper expectations or not. Incredible saveDurham's double save needs to be Sports Center Top 10
play by play? simply noting the last name of the player with the ball doesn't qualify. awful. muted.I said same. No color commentator just the monotonous play-by-play
